The Finance Analyst is responsible for the full set accounts as well as assisting in the preparations of statutory reporting, month end closing and adhoc tasks as assigned by the Supervisor.
This position will also be responsible to perform ad hoc and as a back-up for for multiple finance disciplines, including general ledger (GL), accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable and billing (AR), and travel and expenses (T&E).
Perform daily accounting tasks of General Ledger, Intercompany transactions and recording and reconcile bank transactions.
Prepare journal entries, intercompany transactions reconciliations, and regular month-end closing schedules including uploading of transactions to Hyperion from DAX
Ensure all accounting transactions are recorded timely and accurately
Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and uploading to Blackline and accounting schedules on a monthly basis
Assist with requests from the external auditor and tax consultant, the preparation of various accounting schedules for year-end audit and tax computation for regional entities to ensure compliance with USGAAP and local accounting standards
Build, document, and maintain standard process and desktop procedures.
Ensure internal control and statutory compliance objectives are met.
Support the team on process improvement projects as requested.
Maintenance of Fixed Asset Register and depreciation in DAX.
Maintenance of Inter-entity and Fixed Assets transactions and reconciliations and resolve discrepancies;
Ensure compliance with approval matrix and related policies for all financial transactions;
Undertakes ad hoc improvement projects and analysis as assigned
