  • Provide specialist level functional and configuration knowledge in designing SAP ECC6 FI solutions
  • Should have sound knowledge of master data and configuration of GL( including new GL), AP, AR, Asset accounting, Bank accounting and Cash Management
  • Understand dependency between FI and CO and other logistics modules.
  • Understand configuration dependencies and interrelationships between separate functional modules of SAP and provide financial expertise into the definition and resolution of issues in this area
  • Conduct and participate in user requirements gathering, blueprinting or mapping client business requirements and processes and documentation of the agreed design
  • Provide functional expertise, guidance, presentation and instructions on SAP functionalities to clients.
  • Ensure compliance to reporting standards and processes
  • Prepare detailed test plans and test scripts for various scenarios based on agreed business processes
  • Conduct User Acceptance Testing with the client
  • Conduct knowledge transfer and training of end-users, including sharing best practices
  • Familiar with the processes and strategies that make up the data migration activities · Work with SAP to resolve software bugs.
  • Perform break / fix analysis and recommend solutions for finance related processes.
  • Develop functional specifications and work with BASIS and ABAP resources to complete development and testing of client customized requirements
  • May lead and coordinate the work of a small team
  • Understand and apply the group company’s methodologies and procedures
  • Acts as liaison with client and SAP for troubleshooting : investigates, analyses, and solves software problems / software bugs
  • Map client business requirements, processes and objectives
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
  • With work experience in Accounting
  • At least two (2) full lifecycle implementations as an SAP FI functional consultant
  • Analytical with strong communication and presentation skills
  • Knowledgeable in financial processes and basic Philippine taxation reporting requirements
  • Strong ability to facilitate discussions and negotiate mutually beneficial solutions when necessary
