A day in the life of...
Translate user requirements into a well-defined application and system design.
Evaluate effort, and duration required and accurately estimate the required development tasks.
Coordinate and confirm program operation by conducting Functional Unit Testing (FUT), Market Internal Testing (MIT) & Market Acceptance Testing (MAT) and sign-off of test scripts.
Follow approved change management system of NBS and the Nestle standard of coding
Prepare diagrams and documentation to illustrate application functionality.Develop and implement technical documentation and procedures in coordination with E2E Operations, Infrastructure, and IT Security.
Communicate effectively with BSA Lead, Automation Lead and Process Optimizer throughout the software development life cycle.
Conduct training / cascade and presentations to E2E processors and stakeholders involved in the automation project.
Provide technical recommendation and leadership on complex application development for identified automation.
Works with the IT Support Lead & Automation Lead in defining the team objectives in alignment with the company objectives.
Collaborate with GLOBE BSA & other NBS Centers to ensure alignment on the technology being used and to benchmark ideas, strategies and approach.
Contributes to ensure an updated Business Continuity Plan for Internal Applications.
Presides over the review of the project plan / tracker. Identifies root causes of missing milestones and formulates action plans for improvement.
Ensures that all logged incidents and requests are attended to and resolved within agreed Service Level Objectives.
What will make you successful
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
5+ years’ application development experience
Experience in Robotics Performance Accelerator
Proven history of creating effective support documentation
Effective oral and written communication skills
