Market Job Description

  • Define and implement a robust and best in class BCP, Resiliency and Incident management framework for Business in line with Enterprise Policies for the same
  • Role is responsible for leading, driving, coordinating, and facilitating resiliency strategy and execution through the business group / enterprise function.
  • This includes business continuity plans and incident management planning and response so this is a critical role in BAU to ensure accurate and complete business continuity planning;
  • prior to negative events to ensure preparedness; as well as during crisis response execution of incident and crisis management.

  • Design and conduct periodic comprehensive testing of BCP scenarios for the business line
  • Continuously review the Business Continuity Plans. Challenge them and ensure they are current and work with businesses for minimizing any audit / regulatory findings and should there be any- work with LoBs / Enterprise functions for timely resolution / remediation of findings / gaps .
  • Work with LOBs to ensure that the System of records are current.
  • Partner with the LOB / Enterprise function to help decide on the Location strategy for any future migrations to ensure BC / Resiliency Objectives are suitably and proactively , planned , met in any upcoming migrations as well as Existing processes.
  • As a senior member of the WFIP Business Continuity , Resiliency and Incident Management team work to ensure consistency of BCM Strategy / Resiliency across LOBs / Enterprise Functions at WFIP and help create robust platform.
  • Ensure engagement between the business and technology and Enabling functions ( eg Corporate Properties , Transport , Communications , HR etc ) to strengthen and enhance business continuity / resiliency capability .
  • Review Process Business Continuity Plans , Recovery Time Objectives to ensure interdependencies are aligned to deliver to the Process recovery time objectives
  • This position would interact with the company’s senior leadership, including : the Business Lead , Enterprise Function Leader at WFIP and US , Control Executive, CIO, CISO, and Head of Enterprise Resiliency.
  • Report on the status of the front-line resiliency program to their respective Risk and Control Committee (RCC) or as defined by the WFIP Governance framework
  • Support the Risk Management Framework of Wells Fargo and work with the Control Executives within the Lines of Business as well as Internal Risk Management team to continuously help identify and manage BCP / Resiliency Risk
  • Participate and Drive integrated table top exercises exercises and large scale walkthroughs as required and support testing , development of action plans to address identified deficiencies / issues.
  • Ensure BCPs exist for all active business functions and BCPs are implemented, documented, exercised, maintained, tested and comply with EBCP requirements
  • Market Skills and Certifications

  • College graduate. Bachelor's degree, any field.
  • 15+ years of experience in organizations matching / exceeding the scale / complexity of WFEGS; including sectors like banking , IT , BPO
  • Atleast 10 years’ experience in the Resiliency and business continuity domain at senior levels
  • SME in the areas of resilience, emergency management, and critical infrastructure protection issues such as threat assessment, risk, and vulnerabilities and protective and mitigation strategies
  • Past experience of having designed and executed the Business Continuity Program for Large Organization on an end to end basis
  • Focus on risk reduction, resilience and / or critical infrastructure protection in a collaborative setting such as through partnerships between the public and private sectors
  • Must be willing to travel (10-20%)
  • Broad professional experience, including prior international work experience / travel or experience working as part of a globally dispersed team.
  • Brings a professional network of industry and law enforcement relationships.
  • Leadership attributes in line with the seniority of the role - strategic outlook, stakeholder management, bias for execution and speed, team management and ability to mentor / coach senior team members to name a few
