The Role : Field Services Tendering Leader
We are looking for an experienced Field Services Tendering Manager to help us unlock further commercial value for our business.
What will you do?
Managing a team of Tendering Engineers
Leading and participating actively in winning small to large project sales
Developing and leading tender reviews and approvals
Converting cold’ pipeline to warm’ closures strategically; meet or exceed hit rates by developing a competitive value package successfully
Evaluating Tender Specification and develop customers’ requests into a Schneider Electric’s offer by proposing solutions that comply with the customers’ requirements in the most cost-effective manner
Reviewing of contracts and legal terms with customers
Providing timely and accurate quotations as requested by Sales
Being a single point of contact and accountability throughout the quotation during the RFQ
Supporting Sales team by participating in clarification (if required)
Liaising with Internal Product Manager and / or External Suppliers’ for 3rd party products (if required)
Who would be successful?
Bachelor’s Degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
Technically strong knowledge of Electrical Distribution.
At least 3 years of relevant Proposal or Tendering / Inside Sales experience in LV, MV, Industrial Automation, BMS and UPS commercially.
Data Centre experience will be a plus.
Experience in Contracts and Legal reviewing.
Prior experience as People Manager or leading a team.
Must be able to develop system architecture, generate BOM and prepare proposal for submission.
Experience in handling tenders across at least ASEAN regions will be an advantage.
Prior experience in Tendering and / or Project Management is preferred.
