Job Description

The Social Community Strategist is responsible for the development and execution of social media marketing plans to increase awareness, affinity, growth, and engagement to drive iWant business goals of acquisition, usage and revenue working closely with the Marketing Manager to integrate social media into marketing plans and build an overall strategy across online communities and social platforms.

He / She will also work with internal and external partners to develop and execute projects in line with social media objectives.

Responsibilities : SOCIAL MEDIA STRATEGY


  • Drive short and long-term social media strategy including defining goals, KPIs, leading messaging and production
  • Conduct regular competitive monitoring with a focus on specific category trends and identifying opportunities to optimize content
  • Employ both proactive and reactive community engagement and content publishing
  • Develop and establish the brand voice consistently online
  • Keep up-to-date on digital & social media trends and tools

  • Manage content curation, development, publishing and community management working closely with Community Managers and customer service teams
  • Work with support creative teams to brief, guide and create social content
  • Oversee on-site social media strategies and execution for major events and campaigns

  • Translate social sentiment and engagement into strategic insights to help inform content strategy
  • Deliver comprehensive reporting and measurement on a weekly and monthly basis, working with data teams, Social Listening & Social Analytics

  • Collaborate with ABS-CBN lines of business (LOBs) and external social media accounts for online cross-promotion
  • Identify and develop relationships with key influencers and celebrity partners for amplification of social campaigns
  • Manage paid social media campaigns for priority campaigns
  • Minimum Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of social media experience; experience with entertainment or media brands preferred
  • Proven understanding of best practices for community management and development
  • Strong affinity for local shows and movies
  • Adept in pop culture that resonates with current and potential users
  • Exceptional copywriting and storytelling skills
  • Strong understanding of key social media KPIs, analysis and reporting
  • Ability to work with flexibility and manage multiple projects independently
  • Ability to interface easily with all levels of management and cross-functional teams
