Texas Instruments is looking for a skilled Facilities Technician to join our team. As a Facilities Technician, you will perform technical tasks in support of engineering and maintenance activities involving the construction, design, specification, startup and operation of the facility’s mechanical, chemical and electrical systems or the installation of semiconductor manufacturing tools.
Primary Function : Facilities Technician
Responsible for the in-plant operation & maintenance of all existing facilities equipment & ensure normal operation at all time.
Ensure exhaust flow monitoring of manufacturing equipment are executed based on job plan task frequency, report any issues to prevent manufacturing disruption.
Ensure 100% compliance of environmental temperature / RH & particle count monitoring, corrective action must immediately take place for any out specification condition and encode the gathered data at MY SPC share point.

Major Duties and Responsibilities :
A : Facilities Operation & Maintenance
Shift leader, led the facilities support operation & maintenance team.
Interface with concern employees on the status of facilities utilities & equipment maintenance related activities.
Conducts regular monitoring to identify any irregularity in the electrical & mechanical equipment system, update report & interpret data monitoring log-sheet to ensure equipment operating parameters are within facilities and manufacturing specifications.
Perform weekly particle count in the cleanroom & quarterly for CDA & N2 system.
Rotate operation of standby equipment every quarter to ensure functionality & reliability.
Immediately report any manufacturing issues & facilities system interruption to immediate supervisor / facilities manager and inform system owner for corrective action.
Event Notification website.
Any near miss or interruption event must be reported in event notification process through Initial : Upon occurrence of the event.
Update : When event is still on-going closure and
Final : When the event is closed / resolved.
Update Event Manager for any near miss and interruption event.
Operate & properly maintain facilities equipment to maximize efficiency and reliability to ensure customer requirements are met.
Perform required lubrication of all rotating equipment base on OEM standard change oil & greasing requirements with specific amount of grease application.
Perform & update spares inventory on a quarterly basis to ensure spares availability.
Update & upload maintenance work order data, PM, CM, breakdown and logs in the FMS.
Alarm Management system : Update any spot fire alarm and provide necessary comments for customer audit purposes.
Implement various upgrades to improve operation of current system & always operate the most efficient equipment / tools to support energy conservation program.
Implement general and system 5S to all facilities area.
Perform other related duties as required by the immediate supervisor from time to time.
Instrument / equipment and tools to perform the job :
Personal computer and peripherals, vibration analyzer instrument, Laser Thermal scanner, multi-tester, clamp meter , particle counter and other related tools / measuring equipment to perform the job.
Minimum Qualifications :
The jobholder must have at least 2(two) years technical course and a technical exposure in the operation of facilities utilities system, air condition system (Chiller / AHU / MAU / FCU), CDA, PVAC, EXHAUST, RO / DI / EDI, LN2, Forming gas , UPS, GENERATOR, SUBSTATION and other facilities equipment system.
Special Skills and Knowledge :
Can lead the support team / good communicator who is capable of maintaining a clear flow of information across the organization and concerned parties.
Good exposure in the operation and maintenance of facilities equipment system.
Basic knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, refrigeration, mechanical and electrical aspects.
