The Business Development Manager is responsible for achieving the targeted levels of sales volume. The position also builds relationships with clients to encourage expansion, repeat or replication of and new business opportunities by maintaining a high level of client satisfaction.
Ensures that customer accounts are dealt within a timely and efficient manner, addressing any problems that may arise.Develops accounts, building up regular business and encouraging any new business leads.
Develops and maintains effective business relationships and / or close working practices within relevant departments of account customers within a designated area especially operations, business development and sales departments to secure optimum sales volume of profitable contracts.
Ensures that all procedures are completed and that quality standards are met and suggests any changes that may enhance or improve both the working practices and the quality of the products / services.
