The network engineer is responsible for providing internal and external client support for Itiviti production infrastructure.

Responsibilities :

Assist with the implementation of the Network Project deployments and provide operational support

Implement network configuration for client connectivity and troubleshoot end to end client connectivity issues.

Maintains regional network systems, as needed, and provide off-hour coverage via mobile / remote access as necessary

Ensure the accuracy of network inventory, circuit inventory and network diagrams

Management of network vendors and carriers to ensure their services can fulfill our SLA

Experience :

Over 3-5 years of experience in a similar role

Experience in the Financial or Fintech industry is a plus

Requirement :

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Systems, or other related fields.

Or equivalent work experience.

Must be able to speak, read and write primarily in the English language.

Work on a 24 / 5 shifting schedule and provide off-hour support

Experience / certification with Cisco, Juniper and F5 Platform.

Experience with Cisco devices such as ASA firewall, Catalyst / Nexus switches, routers, etc..

Experience working in a global operational network team is strongly desired.

Possess a solid understanding of WAN / LAN technologies, communications protocols, OSI Model.

Knowledge of Network Monitoring and Management tools

Experience supporting large scale Enterprise LAN / WAN infrastructures using Cisco or Juniper hardware.

Candidate must have a proven hands-on experience in the following areas :

Network protocols BGP, OSPF, HSRP, IPSEC, GRE, 802.11, EIGRP, etc..

Network Platforms - Cisco, Juniper, F5, Netscout

OSI TCP / IP stack

Network monitoring HP OpenView, Nagios, MRTG, CACTI, SNMP, Solarwinds

Cisco CCNA / CCNP qualification
