Proposal Analyst The Proposal Analyst is responsible for the assessment, planning and on-time completion of assigned request for proposal (RFP) projects, consultant questionnaires and other information requests.

The Proposal Analyst completes these projects in accordance with client requirements and company standards to help the company win business.

Knowledge and Skills Effective planning and problem-solving skills Moderate understanding of banking or credit union operations Strong research, decision-making, and organizational skills Strong writing and verbal communication skills Previous experience managing multiple complex projects under tight deadlines with many stakeholders preferred Knowledge of sales principles preferred.

Experience Required 3-5 years’ experience working at a financial institution or financial software company Working knowledge of more than one financial software solutions including core, internet banking, lending, risk management, payments, or branch automation Proposal writing experience strongly preferred Documentation or other large-document production experience preferred Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel preferred Familiarity with SharePoint and Office 365 tools a plus Familiarity with RFPIO proposal automation a plus Education Required Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Marketing, Sales, English, or Journalism.

PMI certification a plus Responsibilities Project Management Complete assigned RFP projects on time and in accordance with client requirements and company standards to help win business.

Initiate, plan and execute project requirements for each assigned RFP; manage multiple projects under tight deadlines Use proposal automation and intranet tools to log, complete and track projects and documents.

Assessment & Research Review requests for proposal to assess proposal requirements and report results to sales. Assess incoming requests for proposal documents to develop answer strategies, plan subject matter resource needs, and schedule production requirements.

Research answers using proposal automation software and interaction with subject matter experts. Collaboration Identify subject matter experts in the company, send requests for answers and incorporate responses into RFPs Collaborate with pricing team and other functions to ensure all related project components are completed.

Writing / Knowledge Management Write new answers as needed, translating highly technical information in clear, concise language.

Communicate value propositions through strong and differentiating messages. Create and update proposal automation software with RFP answers.

Production : Ensure accuracy and compliance with corporate policies for information disclosure in the sales cycle Manage RFP printing and shipping and electronic file preparation and transmission Other duties as assigned.
