Reporting Analysts develop systems and standards for business reports. The role is an expert in data
management and software engineering and is able to effectively coordinate the needs of multiple
departments. Duties include creating database reports based on the needs of end users by performing data
extraction, standard and ad-hoc reports, and analysis; designs, develops, and implements customized tables,
queries and reports; gathers information about reporting needs, objectives, functions, features, and
input / output requirements; manipulates data to create enhancements to existing reports; incorporates end
user requests and requirements to develop an enterprise reporting solution.
Establish, prepare, and build all reporting requirements ensuring key elements related to forecasting,planning, scheduling, measure & control reporting are accurately reflected
Support the Management Team to keep unit costs within budget by providing ad-hoc and analysis reporting regularly that aids business development
Examines and evaluates purpose and content of business reports to develop new, or improve existing format, use, and control : Reviews reports to determine basic characteristics, such as origin and reportflow, format, frequency, distribution and purpose or function of report
Confers with persons originating, handling, processing, or receiving reports to identify problems and to gather suggestions for improvements
Evaluates findings, using knowledge of workflow, operating practices, records retention schedules,and office equipment layout
Recommends establishment of new or modified reporting methods and procedures to improve repor tcontent and completeness of information
May prepare and issue instructions concerning generation, completion, and distribution of reports according to new or revised practices, procedures, or policies of reports management.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent
At least 3 years of related work experience in the BPO Industry
Reporting & Analysis skills including an understanding of database management and Business Intelligence
With strong knowledge of MS Excel and Visual Basic
SQL (database) skills is highly desirable
Must have demonstrated ability to analyse multiple data sources for insights and operational triggers
Has a deep understanding of operational metrics and performance monitoring
Strong relationship management skills and the ability to collaborate with internal and external
Capacity to work in a busy, commercial, competitive environment
Ability to meet objectives and targets
Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and evaluative skills
