Education : Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work
Training : Twenty four (24) hours training in Children’s or families’ issues
Experience : None required
Eligibility : RA 1080 (Social Worker)

Handling street children, street families and Indigenous People especially Bajaus;
Partnership building and networking with local government units and Barangays;
Program planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation;
Documentation and processing;
Community organizing and community -driven development;
Effective oral and written communication;
Must be computer literate; and
Must be willing to travel
Primary Functions :
vProvides immediate response and action to the received reports / tweet through conduct of reach out activities to referred cases to DSWD NCR;
vIntakes and interviews of reported and rescued street dwellers for further social assistance and case management;
vConducts social case study and monitoring of rescued clients to be endorsed to the local government for further provision of social services;
vAssists in the preparation of Annual Work Plans, Semestral Reports, Monthly Accomplishment Reports, and other Project Documentations in relation to Reach Out activities;
vConsolidates accomplishment reports for submission to the Officer in charge of the Special Project Sections;
vPrepares documentations during inter agency meetings and other activities in relation to the project implementation;
vConducts Profiling and encoding of rescued street dwellers’ for data base;
vPrepares documentations on the status reports / updates / accomplishments on profiled street dwellers;
vAttends meetings / seminars and workshops in relation to project implementation;
vReports to the Officer in Charge of the Special Project Section for specific directions and instructions; and
vPerforms other project related tasks that would contribute to the effective and efficient implementation of the project.
Internal staff should submit performance evaluation from immediate supervisor and Individual Performance Contract and Review (IPCR) rating which is at least very satisfactory for the last rating period (July to December 2013).
