To support Divisional Management to deliver improved returns on targeted activity, and generate actionable insight and challenge to the business.
This role will focus on understanding OPEX data to improve the EBITDA Margin performance of the division, through the application of strong modeling skills and intelligent data analysis.
What you will do :
1. Divisional Finance Management
Prepare forecasts / budget / Adhoc Financial analysis and reports for the division;
Control / analyze / report P&L Actuals : undertake monthly reviews against Budget and Forecasts with the teams supported;
On a monthly basis, prepare and present Divisional balanced scorecards to Management. This includes KPIs and P&L with commentary and action plans;
Generally, act as a key interlocutor for the Divisional Management, ensuring financial awareness and driving profitability;
Managing a Junior Finance Business Partner.
2. Financial Analysis
As a privileged interlocutor to the Commercial teams : prepare variance analysis for the division;
In the context of specific analysis : Develop, analyze and interrogate the transactional database and data warehouse to identify and communicate appropriate trends effectively to the business;
Liaise with the data warehouse project team to deliver automated periodic value-adding information, to deliver timely customer-focused information on a weekly, period and ad hoc basis;
Develop KPIs, systems and analysis tools as required by the business;
Ad hoc support to the Senior FBP and the team as required.
To be successful you need to hav е :
CIMA / ACCA Qualified
Mathematics / Statistics Degree or Background desirable
Consumer-facing retail / leisure company
P&L controlling experience
MS Office incl. Access & Advanced Excel
Financial Analysis and presentation
Understanding of database structures
Experience in working with data warehouse reporting tools such as Oracle, Hyperion, Crystal Reports or similar
Comprehension of data mining tools and techniques desirable
Segmentation and statistical analysis, desirable
