Job Function : Your role as a Sales Executive empowers you to initiate first contact with potential exhibitors of Reed Exhibitions.

As the front liner, you are responsible for ensuring potential exhibitors will be well-informed of key event details, keep updated of new features and developments, and made aware of the benefits of Reed Exhibitions events to their businesses.

Apart from calling out new leads, a significant portion of your calls will concentrate on existing, cold exhibitor leads.

This pivotal role efficiently allows Reed Exhibitions account managers to drive conversations further and eventually become business opportunities.

You are also responsible for actively ensuring a good attendance rate for all relevant Reed Exhibitions events throughout the year.

Directly calling visitors, you are in-charge of an end-to-end cycle of promoting Reed Exhibitions events to eventually closing ticket and conference sales for customers, including payment processing and ensuring badges or tickets are received by the customers.

You are expected to assist visitors by providing key event information such as event pricing and fees, matching conference details with their needs, addressing frequently asked questions and minor troubleshooting assistance during actual registration.

The role will be versatile and adaptable to varying projects as Reed Exhibitions handles multiple events for different industries in a given period.

You may find yourself calling out potential exhibitors or visitors for the beauty industry today and tomorrow for the energy industry.

Vital output for this role is meeting daily lead targets, building a healthy sales pipeline, regularly converting leads to registrants and submitting accurate daily insight reports to stakeholdersAccountabilities : 1.

Promote Reed Exhibitions events and conferences to both existing and potential exhibitor / visitor2. Warm up cold leads from the Exhibitor database and convert new leads to potential exhibitors3.

Assess the needs of each potential exhibitor and match them with the event features and benefits4. Build a healthy sales pipeline and provide substantial information and insights on all potential leads5.

Update and verify exhibitor information that may occasionally include minor online research6. Maintain and update Reed Exhibitions exhibitor database (via Salesforce)7.

Convert leads to actual event registrant / attendees8. Upsell in-event sessions and other activities to existing registrants / attendees9.

Assist visitors with event and conference registrations (including payment processing) and provide other information required by customers (which may include minor registration troubleshooting)10.

Update and verify visitor information on each call11. Build new leads and strengthen connections / network by generating new interests from existing or new companies -

acquire new e-mail addresses and gather new subscribers to various event e-mail alerts12. Maintain and update Reed Exhibitions database (via Salesforce) as well as provide insights in increasing marketing productivity and operational efficiency for future Reed Exhibitions events13.

Submit regular productivity and insight reports to Stakeholders Qualifications : 1. Minimum of 2 years sales and marketing experience2.

Bachelor's degree holder3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills4. Excellent time and organizational skills5.

Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment6. Ability to quickly adapt to varying client and / or project demands7.

Experience at working independently and within a team collaboration environment8. Ability to learn, analyze and adapt to new processes quickly9.

  • Ability to provide information to customers in a clear, concise, courteous, polite and professional manner10. Strong attention to detail is required;
  • ability to spot data discrepancy11. Data management experience is a strong advantageSkills required : 1. Strong, persuasive communication skills is essential2.

    Basic knowledge of MS Excel required; Intermediate skills is desirable3. Basic knowledge of data management tools, particularly Salesforce (SFDC)4.

    Familiarity with telephonic tools such as Avaya and Lync / Skype for Business
