  • Responsibilities

    Undergeneral supervision (but works independently most of the time) responsible forhandling and coordinating work for the Financial Reporting group within theClient Accounting Practice (CAP).

    CAP is a team of global service financialprofessionals that has operational capabilities in all locations. CAPencompasses Valuation Reporting and Unitized Valuation and Reporting Serviceand is comprised of partners who support Northern Trust business in conjunctionwith our global network of operational partners.

  • Ensuresthat the team / divisions’ goals for accuracy andtimeliness are maintained
  • Plansand manages the team workflow to accomplish critical tasks on time
  • Ensuresthat new procedures are effectively communicated and system training isadministered where needed
  • Managesvolumes of tasks to meet client deadlines
  • Escalatesrelevant and critical issues to management and all pertinent partners in atimely and efficient manner
  • Carriesout complex activities with significant financial, client, and / or internalbusiness impact
  • Mayhave direct interaction with committees and / or Senior Management8. Able toserve as a key subject matter expert and mentor to other more junior levelemployees
  • Maymanage daily operational activities and supervise day-to-day work of juniorlevel employees (but not a formal management role)
  • Moretechnically sound in area of expertise and has broader knowledge of other areas
  • Delivers a workproduct that requires less revision

    Qualifications

  • ACollege or University degree
  • At least 3 years relevant ClientAccounting work experience is required.
  • Excellentoral and written communication skills are required
  • In-depthClient Accounting / Industry Knowledge is required
  • Highlyflexible and adaptable to change
