Description Responsible for providing technical support to sales offices of Automations Solutions - Asia Pacific regions in generating Maintenance Repeat Orders (MRO) quote requests that involve Rosemount and Buy-

out products, ensuring technical recommendations and solutions are provided to address basic internal customer queries on Rosemount products, including technical clarifications.

Responsibilities Part Number / Model Number Creation

  • Reviews configuration datasheet and validates against customer requirements
  • Analyses customer requirements and provides recommended product features and build model
  • Identifies product suitable to replace an obsolete or competitors’ unit based on sizing or information from the old product
  • Validates and Checks customer-provided model code for correctness and applicability based on customer specifications and current product offerings
  • Reviews individual instrument specifications / requirements and selects appropriate model code and service offering.
  • All products are based on current product offerings and service offering. Builds product model string based on customer requirements for 1-
  • 3 types of technology. System aided tool is used for the final model built

  • Validates the Model Number in the business system / tool (Toolkit / Oracle) : code requirements, special requirements, assembly codes
  • Creates model string and test new model numbers in the system
  • Product Proposal Creation

  • Prepares Clarification, Deviation and Assumption List, provides product lead time
  • Coordinates with the supplier / factory / other support group to obtain / identify specific lead time of a product not readily available on the system (may be a custom item with no standard lead time)
  • Calculates documentation cost and fills out document quote form as part of proposal
  • Performs initial price screening by calculating the final price based on the DOA (Delegation of Authority)
  • Coordinates with the supplier / factory / other support group to obtain product and service pricing
  • Escalates commercial inquiries to factory / Escalates pricing issues to appropriate support group
  • Enters quote details, recommended product model codes, and miscellaneous items (documents and services) in system
  • Generates new or revised proposal
  • Documentation Management / Control

  • Gathers, collects, organizes and sends electronic copies of documentations to customer
  • Identify customer documentation requirements and specifications / Reviews customer data and documentation requirements (type, format, copies) against factory standard
  • Reviews completeness customer data and documentation requirements
  • Consolidates Material Certification / Documents
  • Liaises and / or Enters with Order Management team to enter documentation charges into business systems
  • Escalate Documentation Issues to appropriate individuals
  • Fill outs customer non-standard records (Non EMR docs - e.g. Price list, Instrument tag list, etc.)
  • Reviews and resolves escalated Documentation issues
  • Analyses risks related to documentation requirements and escalates to project manager / engineer
  • Requirements Education : Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Control, Instrumentation, Chemical Engineering Job related experience : Minimum 1.
