About the Role
This risk manager lead position is responsible for overall management of PVSI Control activities across EGS locations, including the Wells Fargo's EGS Global Delivery Centers and Third Party Service Provider.
Responsible for providing leadership and overseeing PVSI Control activities across EGS locations; build and lead a team of control professionals supporting PVSI control group.
This will mean but not limited to :
Build and lead a team to deliver quality and cost effective global delivery solutions for the US based PVSI Control Managers
Manage budgets and expenses.
Engage and manage stakeholder relationships and provide cost effective solutions when needed.
Operational Excellence- focus on driving 'doing things right, the first time' and 'continuous improvement'
Risk Management : Proactively identifying risks, building robust internal controls and risk reporting that impact direct and indirect processes / policies
Risk Management : Solid understanding of upstream and downstream processes that will help identify emerging risks
Risk Management : Solid understanding of US Laws and Regulations to help build out the proper controls
Engage effectively with partners to plan, assign and manage the delivery of work and performance reporting. Implementation, execution, and monitoring of risk-
based Front Line Control Group supervision program, including performance triggers, measurement of initiatives and program effectiveness.
Partner, identify opportunities and build talent capabilities in EGS to support global talent strategy requirements of PVSI Control group.
Providing independent and objective assessments and recommendations to senior leaders.
Provide leadership in proactive organization planning for the EGS PVSI Control team, lead the team members and effectively manage their engagement, learning needs, career progression and people management requirements in consultation and partnership with stateside leaders and managers.
Market Skills and Certifications
Provide effective leadership for risk assessment and reporting of emerging and current risks, including the timely escalation of risks, incidents and issues, including tracking and reporting of corrective actions, with appropriate escalation.
Develop and provide aggregated global delivery risk reports and customized reports (e.g. Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), status of implementation, etc.
for PVSI specific global delivery activities to ensure there is a comprehensive and transparent view of PVSI risks, controls, issues and losses.
Partner, support and liaise closely with the EGS Control team that supports EGS control activities.
Collaborate and ensure all risk management initiatives and policies are effectively implemented by the PVSI business groups in EGS through effective collaboration and dialogue
Work closely with business partners and EGS teams to implement effective change management processes for any changes in the standard operating environment.
This would involve assisting in the identification of risks associated with the change, evaluating risk assessments, and ensuring the appropriate risk mitigation plans are being implemented.
This also includes understanding the transition framework and the nuances of risk management during the transition of processes, and working with all appropriate stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition.
Essential Qualifications :
Candidate must be a graduate of any degree in College (preferably in Business, Economics, and Finance)
Candidate must have 12 - 18 years of overall experience with a minimum of 10 years in Operational Risk & Compliance discipline, including experience in a captive unit of a MNC financial institution and / or in the BPO space.
Candidate must have knowledge of the operational risk & compliance framework and disciplines primarily in the banking industry and in front line control.
Proficiency and understanding nuances of risk reporting to meet the needs of various PVSI stakeholders and adapting to changing needs and requirements will be critical.
Demonstrate collaboration, strong negotiation, communication, presentation and influence skills; ability to build and lead a large team across multiple geographies
Proven ability in exercising independent judgment and applying prudent risk mitigation principles
Consulting experience with senior management teams. Ability to work well in teams.
Preferably with certifications on CRISC, CISA or CIA or similar risk / control certifications
Candidates must be amenable to work on a MID shift (3 : 00PM 12 : 00AM)
