Job Summary :

  • Client is an Australian-owned Managed Service Provider. With a well-established business model and framework, it aims to provide small to medium sized businesses with complete IT solutions and services;
  • allowing their clients to concentrate on running the day to day operations of their business, knowing their IT is in safe hands.

    They are currently seeking a Level 3 IT Support Engineer. The successful candidate will provide IT support for clients, requiring an eye for detail, good time management, methodical and logical thinking, diligence, and the ability to solve issues while working in a team environment.

    Job Description :

    As a senior support of the company, you will be providing basic to complex IT support for our partners based around the globe.

    Also, you will be dealing with internal staff and external customers to rectify and solve customer issues.

    WINDOWS

  • 5+ years of experience in providing IT support at an MSP or similar IT organization
  • Strong Networking (LAN, WAN, TCP / IP, SNMP, VPN, VLANS etc.) Language / Oral and Written Communication Skills
  • Active Directory - Managing Server 2008 / 2012 / 2016 / 2019 components, user management, enabling / disabling, unlocking, etc.
  • Configuration and management of Windows server, including VMs, Terminal Servers, RD Gateways, AD, DNS, Group Policy, Permissions
  • Windows Client O / S - Windows 7 / 8.1 and Windows10
  • Setup and support mobile devices (Android, iOS, Chrome OS, etc.)
  • Troubleshoot Windows Desktop and MS Office / Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • O365 / Azure Administration / Support for multiple businesses concurrently
  • NETWORKING & STORAGE

  • Network Fileservers, SANS / NAS management (Synology / QNAP)
  • Storage RAID systems - RAID1, RAID5, RAID6 and RAID10
  • Firewalls - SonicWall, Watchguard, Fortinet (access rules, site-to-site VPN, remote VPN access, LDAP integration)
  • Routers / Switches Ubiquiti, Unifi, EdgeRouters / Switches
  • 3+ years of experience managing / deploying network devices (IE routers / switches)
  • VIRTUALIZATION

  • 2+ years of experience in VMware / ESXI, Hyper-V
  • VEEAM BACKUP

  • Configuring, managing and restoring Veeam instances
  • 3CX Phone Provisioning

  • Configuring, managing and programming 3CX user functions
  • SOFTWARE / SECURITY

  • Adobe Products - Acrobat Pro
  • Trend Micro & Webroot Antivirus Packages
  • Ostendo
  • Quickbooks - Installing / configuring, single and multi user mode
  • LOB - ConnectWise Manage, Automate & Control
  • OTHER SKILLS

  • Timely and accurate input of customer application into the system
  • Application tracking, updates and follow up with stakeholders
  • Customer follow up (if required) for any outstanding documents
  • Identify missing information and follow up as required
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures and regulatory frameworks at all times
  • Preparation of compliance documents
  • CRM Management ensuring client database is kept up to date
  • Provide admin support
  • Transcribing verbal phone recordings into Client Fact Finds and data input
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of relevant processes, systems and products
  • Job Qualifications :

  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in the Australian market
  • Bachelor’s / College Degree specializing in Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent
  • Experience working with Australian clients
  • Experience using multiple software platforms including Connectwise Manage, Automate, and or similar
  • Experience and competency using Word, Excel, and Microsoft Outlook
  • Have the ability to multitask, work towards deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-directed and able to work without supervision
  • Must have the ability to work as part of a team
  • Strong customer and presentation skills
