PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES : (Include but not limited to : )
Provide high quality incident and request resolution for all assigned work, within approved Service Levels
Escalation point for support tickets that are not able to be completed by Service Desk or Junior Infrastructure Engineers
Provide timely response and resolution to system alerts received through mediums such as monitoring tools, email alerts, phone calls, etc
Perform routine operational duties (daily, weekly etc) that contribute to overall reliability of IT systems, such as :
Server and application status and log review
Data Center maintenance and cleanliness
Provide after hours support in accordance with the On Call roster
Ensure all systems are running at appropriate version, service pack and security levels
Assist with new site setups, and perform site visits as required
Provide high quality communication in relation to planned or unplanned system outages
Create and maintain a high standard of documentation
Design and Implement high quality infrastructure platforms and systems as required
Provide guidance and mentoring to Junior IT Infrastructure Engineers and Service Desk Engineers as required
Adhere to all policies and procedures relating to Workplace Health and Safety, ensuring the safety of yourself and all other people who may be effected by your conduct in the workplace
Demonstrate innovation by identifying and potentially implementing improvements in areas of technology and process

Technical criteria intermediate to advanced level required, with at least 3 years experience : Cisco VoIP / UCCEHP server and workstation hardwareMicrosoft certification and experience in server OS, Exchange 2013, AD 2003 and above, MS SQLNetwork switches, firewalls and routersCitrix MetaframeVMWare implementation and administration experience in vCenter 5.
1 or higher.Symantec End Point ProtectionWeb filtering softwareHotel Property Management Systems desirable
