Cover My Meds (CMM) is a McKesson connectivity business, manages the nation’s largest pharmacy network, providing essential healthcare connectivity between more than 50,000 U.

The CMM Technology Product Manager is responsible for the success of the platform solutions. They are responsible for the entire product lifecycle and financial oversight for CMM Technology.

The lifecycle may include ideation, business requirements, concept testing, pricing, development, developing value propositions and customer presentations, go-to-market strategies, sales and channel education and marketing plans.

The Product Manager collaborates with personnel throughout the business, including contributors from business development, product and project management, development, quality assurance, customer support, sales, marketing, finance, strategic partners and customers.

The Product Manager evaluates the appropriateness of enhancements to core solutions or development of new platforms to support the business.

The CMM Technology Product Manager is responsible for ensuring the CMM Platform Solutions support current business needs.

  • The Product Manager develops business plans and product positioning to support future growth; stays abreast of industry trends in the areas that touch CMM Platform Solutions;
  • interacts with customers to understand business problems and crafts problem-solving solutions; works closely with all internal teams, especially development and other Product Managers whose products utilize the Platform Solutions, to champion the projects through the various phases to a successful delivery;
  • develops and maintains a roadmap that incorporates customer requests; acts as subject matter expert to support customers;
  • ensures documentation (internal and external) is complete and current; provides updates on a regular basis to the business, which could contain, but aren’t limited to, performance metrics and roadmaps;
  • anticipates change and directs or redirects efforts; provides resolutions to an assortment of problems of moderately complex scope;
  • uses judgment within defined practices and procedures; works independently and with minimal supervision.

    Key Responsibilities :

  • Use an understanding of our business to identify and champion opportunities that could influence the trajectory of the CMM Platform Solutions roadmap
  • Translate business needs and opportunities into actionable, well defined and framed projects, based on frequent interaction with customers (internal and external)
  • Manage the roadmap by prioritizing opportunities from a wide range of inputs, focusing on those that will be the most impactful
  • Use qualitive and quantitative techniques to frequently evaluate the CMM Platform Solutions, confirming they are meeting customer needs, and acting on any identified opportunities for growth
  • Own and ensure the quality of the product and documentation, delivering best-in-class solutions and customer experience with each release
  • Work closely with Development (technical side of platform ownership) and other Product Managers (business side of platform ownership), as well as other CMM teams, to ensure business needs are met
  • Respond to business requests as a Subject Matter Expert regarding the capabilities and functionality of the CMM Platform Solutions
  • Minimum Requirements

    5+ years of experience in product management or equivalent experience

    Critical Skills

  • Product Management experience or equivalent
  • Experienced and effective leader, driven to produce measurable results
  • Technology background or strengths (knowledge of Cloud a plus)
  • Experience interacting at the C-Suite or executive level
  • Additional Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong project management skills including managing project timelines to completion.
  • Understanding of various industry constituents representing pharmacy locations.
  • Familiarity with pharmacy third party claims
  • Familiarity with various methods of electronic communication and data storage standards
  • Experience working closely with development organizations (familiar with Agile and Waterfall)
  • Demonstrated ability to develop solution value propositions; design presentations that clearly and concisely articulate the solution value proposition and / or ROI.
  • Ability to influence internal customers, external customers and business leaders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications; excellent presentation skills to large groups.
  • Able to define market positioning of products / services and set pricing strategy, in order to gain customer acceptance, meet market share objectives, and sustain long term profitability.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide competitive analysis and market insight.
  • Ability to visualize and / or contribute to the presentation of an idea or project (from concept and design to presentation).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills ability to understand impacts of simple to moderately complex concepts.
  • Ability to effectively multi-task in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Skills.
  • Ability to foster effective working relationships with peers within and across organizational lines.
  • Strong understanding of various business areas of companies (such as IT, legal, sales, marketing, service) and how each area contributes to the effective management of new initiatives.
  • Ability to quickly adapt and adjust to change.

  • Education

    MBA preferred in Marketing, Business or related field or equivalent experience

    Degree preferred in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field or equivalent experience
