Job Summary :

Responsible for management of the Carbon Black and Qualys environments and any adhoc task assigned.

Key Accountabilities :

  • Monitor Carbon Black and Qualys environments for health
  • Perform first level Carbon Black tasks (LE to HE moves)
  • Perform troubleshooting of Carbon Black agent over multiple OS’s (Linux, Unix, and Windows)
  • Escalate to next level of support as dictated by process
  • Perform first level Qualys tasks (Agent Purge, ID creation, Authentication remediation, ad hoc scans)
  • Troubleshoot scanning and agent issues over multiple OS’s (Linux, Unix, and Windows)
  • Ability to work with technical engineers over a variety of platforms
  • Minimum Skills Requirement to Hire :

    The candidate :

  • IT degree or equivalent experience
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
  • Strong understanding of Network Infrastructure and Protocols (TCP, UDP)
  • Ability to understand a variety of network protocols such as TCP / IP, UDP, DHCP, FTP, SFTP, ATM, SNMP, SMTP, SSH, SSL, VPN, RDP, HTTP and HTTPS.
  • Understanding of Diverse Operating systems such as Windows, Unix-based OS’ (to include AIX, Linux flavors, and MacOS)
  • Understanding of a variety of technical concepts with focus on cloud computing, automation, networking, systems administration, application development, and information security best practices
  • Innovative problem-solving skills with the proven ability to exercise flexibility and judgment
  • Experience with Qualys or similar vulnerability scanning tool is required
  • Experience with Carbon Black is a plus
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable when dealing with a rapidly changing environment
  • Technical Skills :

  • Security + certification or equivalent training will be an advantage
  • Ability to troubleshoot multiple OS’s (Linux, Unix, AIX, and Windows) over multiple platforms on-prem hosting, Azure, and End User Workstations / VDI.
  • Soft skills :

  • Excellent comprehension, analytical and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
  • Ability to work within a team to solve complex issues
  • Excellent attention to detail, data accuracy, and data analysis
