Role Summary
Oversees purchase requirements set by different labels and department, in order for them to accomplish and complete their routine activities and to ensure that they are completed accurately and on time
Review and vetting of vendor contracts, payment terms and other requirements to ensure control compliance.
About the role
Lead team members in Accounts Payable department including WNS-PTP resource
Ensure that company obligations including invoices are paid on time, bringing in more revenue and profit.
Responsible for the review and vetting of vendor contracts, payment terms and other requirements to ensure control compliance
Communicates with other bank and selected government agencies on UMG’s requirement
Responsible for tax payment and filing of tax returns.
Assist in Audit requirements AP related concerns
Desirable Traits :
A bachelor's degree in accounting and finance, Knowledgeable in SAP applications and prior experience in accounting is a must (at least 3-5 years experience in this area)
Problem-solving skills are important in this position to provide support and thorough analyses.
Great communication skills as the person need to develop strong business relationships with vendors, bank agencies and selected government agencies as well as with co-employees
Complete understanding in local taxation to ensure compliance
Must be willing to work in a fast-paced environment to meet strict deadlines and due date
