The Accountant position has responsibility for carrying out client work that is assigned to them by the team leader, supervisor or the client team leader or supervisor.
The work assigned is critical in satisfying client accounting compliance, financial management and financial reporting.

The position is responsible for all day to day bookkeeping and monthly verification tasks for the business entities assigned to your portfolio
Use the latest in cloud-based technology to prepare financial reports, income tax returns and business activity statements for a range of clients across a wide range of industries.
Prepares work papers, financial statements, and various reports for each client entity. Process tax returns for each entity type end to end
Preparation of BAS and IAS
Conduct payroll, and superannuation payments for clients, as required
Financial statement preparation for each client entity
Conduct bank reconciliations monthly and identify and resolve any discrepancies, as required Monthly superannuation payments for clients, as required
Ensure compliance with all ATO and other finance / tax related legislation
Any other duties as required from time to time
