The Inside Sales Specialist will be working in a team environment as part of the Business Development and Solutions Engineering Department.
executing follow-up calls as needed, and entering the transaction into the customer database system.
He or She will work in conjunction with Emerson's sales resources to :
Perform quote follow up as directed.
Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of the company product lines and relation business practices.
Primary contact for the resolution of customer issues from initial customer interest to shipment of the product.
Fully utilize the sales automation system (ORACLE and EET).
Maintain accurate and comprehensive customer / account information.
Develop a thorough product knowledge competency on all technologies and services offerings as related to quote generation.
Develop and communicate as appropriate, industry knowledge and competitor intelligence.
Work effectively with associated internal sales support network personnel and other external complimenting distribution channels.
Consult with Sales Representatives regarding customer orders / quotations / requirements in compliance with company standards.
Assist customers and sales representatives in determining appropriate products for their application.
