People Development Manager or what we call in Avaloq, Chapter Leads enable individuals to realize and develop their personal and professional potential.

You foster a nurturing, inspiring and productive culture and work environment. Chapter Leads directly oversee members of a Chapter as their Line Manager, helping the members of the Chapter to grow and develop in their area of expertise and ensure alignment on the "how" of the work they perform in their Teams.

We are international and multi-disciplinary. We build innovative cloud services, analytics and API platforms helping financial institutions to easily adopt and use our Avaloq products within a wide ecosystem.

Your mission

  • Inspire an Agile way of working through greater collaboration and knowledge exchange
  • Empower and motivate individuals, through leading by example, coaching and developing people and teams in multi-disciplinary cross-functional set-ups
  • Create and evaluate opportunities and offerings for upskilling, by designing programs that enhance individual and Team development
  • Provide resource management services, recruiting and on-boarding services and general people management services (Line Manager responsibilities)
  • What you need

  • Previous experience in working with and developing a huge and multi-disciplinary team of software engineers
  • A track-record working in challenging software development environments that utilize the Agile way of working
  • Experience with resource planning, allocation and recruiting additional talents
  • Mindset of a Servant Leader, focusing on growth and well-being of people and the communities in which they belong
  • Strong communication, coaching and facilitation skills
  • You will get extra points for the following

  • Experience in exploring and driving continuous improvement initiatives or ideas
  • Any Professional Scrum Certification
