Current Need

We are seeking a Sr. Manager, IT Audit to join our team in Alpharetta, GA.

Position Description

The Sr. Manager, IT Audit helps to develop an enterprise-wide IT Audit strategy in line with identified risks, management priorities, and best practices.

Develops formal written reports and audit committee materials to communicate audit results to management and makes recommendations as appropriate..

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and manage risk- based audit engagements; including pre-implementation reviews, integrated audits, core IT audits, and compliance reviews
  • Lead risk assessment program execution and optimization
  • Lead engagement planning, execution, reporting, and issue monitoring for the audit plan
  • Review audit issues to ensure that they are well defined and root causes understood
  • Communicate and collaborate with peers, key business partners and executives in the development and execution of the audit plan
  • Develop formal dashboards to communicate results of audit activities to management
  • Provide assistance in the preparation of audit committee material
  • Represent and actively participate in relevant councils, committees and / or governance meetings
  • Lead talent management and staff development
  • Foster continuous improvement in all aspects of department and engagement management
  • Lead other department initiatives and deliverables to support Internal Audit Leadership
  • Minimum Requirements

    Degree or equivalent experience. Typically requires 9+ years of professional experience and 1+ years of supervisory and / or management experience.

    Critical Skills

  • 5+ years Information Technology audit (or equivalent risk function) or business-facing IT technical environment experience
  • 1+ years managerial experience
  • CISA or CISM designation; CISSP a plus
  • Up to 10% travel (once per quarter)
  • Additional Knowledge and Skills

  • Knowledge of and passion for healthcare technology industry
  • Healthcare-specific technologies and compliance requirements (FDA, DEA, DHHS, HIPAA / HITECH)
  • System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) approaches, methodologies, and tools
  • Management of large-scale internal system development programs
  • Management of a shared service environment, for IT and other functions
  • IT Service Management or ITIL disciplines
  • Major ERP applications, including SAP, JD Edwards, PeopleSoft, and Hyperion
  • Windows-based networks (in particular, Active Directory)
  • TCP / IP networking protocol and TCP / IP-based networks
  • Databases, firewalls, authentication systems, and cryptography
  • Financial accounting principles and terms, as well as core business process knowledge
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (i.e., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Access, Visio and Project)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong staff management skills
  • Education

    Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, or related field or equivalent experience
