Utilize consistent processes to develop materials and events that deliver exceptional learning experiences for employees.

Design engaging and interactive training for various delivery methods, including instructor-led, self-study and web-based curriculum.

  • Knowledge of adult learning theory and key instructional design methodologies, creating learning solutions using the A.D.D.I.E. model
  • Strong conceptual thinking; ability to take raw content and create curriculum that supports delivering an engaging learning experience
  • Ability to collaborate to develop project goals, training objectives and measurements by analyzing needs and proposing multiple solutions
  • Creative, flexible and innovative team player; ability to work effectively within an environment with constantly changing priorities.
  • Strong organizational, problem solving, and analytical skills with a demonstrated history of managing priorities, workflow, and multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the demonstrated ability to make successful presentations to individuals / groups at all levels within the organization
  • Consults and interacts with subject matter experts and clients to assess training needs and develop business relationships to drive corporate and individual performance
  • Experience designing written training curriculum or producing high caliber technical writing in a creative, team-oriented environment;

  • Experience using eLearning authoring tools (such as Articulate or Captivate) desirable; if not currently applicable, career path requires willingness and aptitude to upgrade technical skills
  • Working knowledge of Learning Management Systems
  • Experience with implementing evaluations and assessments, or other business reports analyzing metrics and results

  • Develops learning experiences utilizing various delivery methods including instructor-led, self-study, and eLearning delivery, including development of metrics to assess Training outcomes
  • Performance consultation with subject matter experts, internal customers or external clients to identify, recommend and design training solutions
  • Conducts pilot classes, train the trainer sessions, classroom training and leadership workshops as operationally needed
  • Travel to sites or facilities as required
  • This position carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with guidelines, policies and procedures and applicable laws.
  • Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work;
  • appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

    Required and Preferred Qualifications :

  • High school graduation required; Bachelor’s degree in Training & Development, Performance Improvement, Instructional System Design, Education, Healthcare or a related field preferred.
  • Equivalent work experience acceptable.

  • Minimum one to three years of experience in a Training & Development or technical writing role.
