Job Description :
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, support in the following areas :
Responsible for Signal Integrity Simulations of post-layout PCB design and generating Signal Integrity Analysis reports
Responsible for coordinating with Test Development Team, PCB layout team to resolve SI related issues
Responsible for providing and maintaining PCB high-speed layout guidelines
Responsible for reviewing PCB stack up, dielectric material, routing strategy, and geometry definition.
Responsible for end-to-end channel simulations for optimizing multi-gigabit SerDes channels
Work with multiple teams distributed globally
Signal integrity support for hardware engineers during board bring-up and debug.
Responsible for preparation of and implementing signal integrity checklists for various stages of development.
Minimum Qualifications :
Degree in Electronics / Electrical / Computer Engineering specializing in areas related to Signal Integrity and Electromagnetic theory
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Test Engineering / Applications Engineering in hardware development for high-speed devices
Solid background in transmission line theory and in-depth knowledge of electromagnetics.
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Preferred Qualifications :
Master’s Degree preferred
SI simulation experience preferred
Experience with ADS, Sigrity, Hyperlynx Signal Integrity tools a plus
Education : Bachelors
