SUMMARYRealPage is looking for an Instructional Designer focused on developing technical curriculum. The Instructional Designer will develop end user training in all formats (ILT / Online) focused on but not limited to technical training.
This person will assist in all facets of the process, including the training needs analysis, research, curriculum development and design, and maintain documentation deliverables to meet user needs.
The Instructional Designer will demonstrate the ability to delivering best in class learning. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Work in a fast-paced environment while completing training development projects according to project timelines.
Works with subject matter experts to obtain information required to develop objectives, design documents / storyboards, and new training.
Develop technical training solutions for customers, partners, and employees.
Develop training materials and associated documentation for instructor-led training courses and eLearning offerings.
Develop and conduct train-the-trainer workshops and one-on-one development sessions for SMEs for the purpose of enhanced training implementation and delivery.
Coordinate the production, delivery, and tracking of training activities and materials in areas such as project milestones, budget, resource time and logistics.
Independently lead learning solutions through training life cycle - needs analysis, mapping, design, development and delivery.
Evaluates effectiveness of training programs and makes recommendations for improvements.
Assist in defining, measuring, and analyzing the impact of training and ROI.
Deliver training virtually or in-person to local or remote audiences as instructed by TD manager.
Perform additional duties / responsibilities as assigned by the TD Manager. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES
Mastery of adult learning principles and accepted instructional theories, practice, and design methodologies.
Multimedia development experience in rich media tools required.
Knowledge of AICC and SCORM compliance standards preferred.
Minimum five years of Curriculum Design / Development experience, required.
Excellent creativity skills related to new approaches to training development.
Excellent listening, communication, and presentation skills.
Ability to develop high quality learning content with minimal oversight.
Ability to acquire, synthesize, and present technical information.
Must be detail-oriented, well organized, with project management experience. EDUCATION
Bachelor's Degree in Training, Instructional Design, Communication, web design, multimedia or related field preferred.
