The PMO Consultant should have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, be a deadline driven self-starter.

The successful candidate will be hands-on, focused, and energetic. The successful candidate will report to the Head of the Enterprise Digital Transformation Office and is expected to develop relationships with all levels of executives, staff and vendors.

The Project Management Office Consultant is someone with exceptional relationship, program management, project management, process improvement, PMO Governance, and delivery excellence experience who has a proven track record of driving continuous improvement and process standardization in complex and ever-changing business environments and market lifecycles.

The jobholder will be working closely with the Enterprise Digital Transformation Office (EDTO) Leads governing all projects and ensuring a unified Digital Transformation standard across technology, process, tools and people capability.

The jobholder will work with other teams within AIA Philippines, where required i.e. Operations, Local IT and Group IT departments to ensure alignment of AIA project governance framework and standards.

Aside from project and process governance, the job holder will be tasked as well on identifying and implementing process improvements that will address process gaps and areas of opportunities.

Roles and Responsibilities :

Works with TO leads / teammates to :

  • Address pain points by identifying, documenting, and implementing process improvements across end-to-end project management lifecycle
  • Manage the project management tool (Planview), and identify and implement potential enhancements within the tool to ensure alignment with business processes
  • Ensure a unified Digital Transformation and Project Management standard across technology, process, tools, and people capability
  • Implement best practices across all projects within AIA, spanning Agile & waterfall methodologies
  • Drive a common tool / technology selection standard with respect to application modernization
  • Provide data analysis and data-driven reporting to enable management and project teams in sound decision-making
  • Enable AIA PH goals to achieve cloud native with service-based architecture for all new applications
  • Create checklists, templates & artifacts to enable faster & standardized transformation
  • Streamline initiative E2E process, starting from vision, goals, business case objectives, vendor selection and gate 0 approvals for all AIA projects
  • Govern program / projects based on AIA digital transformation standards, agile and DevSecOps practices
  • Delivery of AIA projects based on PMO standards
  • Delivery of EDTO initiatives and process improvements
  • Project KPIs / OKRs
  • Personal leadership, impact and influence
  • Digital skills / agile capability / behavioral competency development of project resources
  • Minimum Job Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree (in Information Technology or other related fields)
  • 6+ years of experience preferably in Project / Program Management, PMO Governance and process improvement
  • Solid understanding of agile methodology and industry best practices
  • Demonstrated ability in a process / project management role with experience in similar roles in large organizations, Big 4 audit firms, or other consulting firm, highly preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to present in a clear and concise manner at all levels within the enterprise
  • Well-developed analytic and problem-solving skills
  • Highly organized with ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver assignments on time
  • High degree of integrity including ability to handle sensitive or confidential information with professionalism
  • Team player with the ability to draw from the above experience and work on overreaching, global, project strategy
  • Experience working on projects across multiple geographies
  • Experience working on business process improvement, highly preferred
