About the role
The Chief Mold Engineer will manage technical aspect on package development execution, guided by project / product requirements & time to market.
What you will do
Support new product / package development and deliver results according to project timeline.
Monitor performance, quality and reliability of process during development stage.
Identify problems or non-favorable deviations; design, recommend and execute / implement corrective / improvement actions which enhance the utility, quality, reliability or cost effectiveness inthe area of responsibility
Spearhead DFM for new project
Close collaboration with materials & equipment suppliers and together with project leader.
What you will need
Degree / Master in Engineering / Material Sciences related or equivalent.
10 years’ experience in for semiconductor packaging. In-depth knowledge of IC / Power packaging is highly desired.
Working experience with AutoCAD is a plus.
Broad knowledge of various material types specifically on Mold, Mold Tooling.
Considers himself as MOLD process development expert.
Must have above average and hands on experience on Engineering & Quality Tools :
SPC, DOE, MSA / GRR, 8D, Root CauseAnalysis, DFMEA / PFMEA, Control Plan, etc.
Trained software’s : Minitab, SAS JM
Equipment maintenance and troubleshooting level 2
Mold and TFS Tooling design and fabrication.
