Typically handles inquiries of moderate scope and complexity. The position has a direct impact on the direct work group / team, providing direction and advice to co-workers.
Performs economic research, prepares forecasts, and analyzes trends. Leads projects as well as initiatives to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
Currently, 3M is deploying ERP (SAP) to the subsidiaries and you would be requested to work in both SAP countries and Legacy system countries during transition period.
The position will report to Treasury and Accounts Receivables Team Leader and work as a liaison with countries and primary contact from our internal client on subject matter.
Treasury - Bank Reconciliation Analyst responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following : Ensure completeness, accuracy and timeliness of transactions, analysis, reconciliations and reporting.
Work closely with various relevant processes to perform daily reconciliation of open items. Responsible for daily bank reconciliation and statement creation in SAP Sakura / Polaris Responsible for preparation of manual journal entries.
Manage cash flow and bank balance of the 3M Subsidiaries and execute Inter Company fund transfer between 3M treasury center, when needed.
Improve KPIs and continuously improve productivity and service quality Prepare and complete timely balance sheet reconciliation.
Ensure to meet KPIs / SLAs and continuously improve productivity and service quality Maintain SOPs and other related documents (Creation of SOP-JP) Play a key role for transition projects from 3M subsidiaries and support SAP deployment.
Ensure compliance to 3M Financial Standard, SOX and other regulations. Engage in ad-hoc activities such as internal / external audit, tax audit, etc Participation in project, e.
g. Treasury centralization activities, LSS, Idea Hopper Basic Qualifications : Accounting degree and working experience in Finance and Accounting area minimum 5 years.
People management and leadership experience Solid financial accounting and internal control knowledge. CPA is advantage.
Working knowledge for CitiDirect (electronic banking system) is highly preferred Working knowledge of SAP in AR area minimum 2 years Experience in Shared Service Center for multi-national corporation is preferred Experience with Citibank electric banking system is advantage Knowledge in English, and Japanese (Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking Skills are necessary / required for this role).
JLPT N1 / N2 Certification is preferred Skills : Ability to learn legacy system (AS / 400, PeopleSoft, etc) Flexible for new assignment and willingness to learn.
