The Business Process Associate is responsible for accurately processing applications for Life Disability, Critical Illness, Health and Dental, and Personal Accident applications and provides underwriting and quality support as well as accurately processing insurance forms for Mortgage Creditor products and provides administrative support

We are looking for someone with :

Bachelor’s Degree (4 year program)

Keyboarding skills of 35 WPM, 85% accuracy

Pass the BU Math Exam (8 out of 10)

Pass the BU English exam (8 out of 10)

Good multi-tasking skills and time management

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Able to use MS Office applications

Must be able to work on rotating shifts

Open to work in UP Ayalaland TechnoHub, Quezon City

Nice to Haves :

Clear, precise and structured written communication

Good understanding of etiquette for written communications (both email and chat)

Ability to proactively respond to business situations

On the job you will :

Accurate indexing of forms (medical and non-medical) and forwarding to the appropriate area of processing 10%

Accurately submit complex applications on AWD and Mainframe Systems (Contract Acceptance, NBUS, Capsil, IMAC, LH systems, and FileNet) for new business 30%

Process all guaranteed issue and jet issue (minor medical impairments) Term Life applications up to $250,000, Health and Dental and Personal Accident application as per the guidelines provide by the Affinity Underwriting Department 10%

Ordering of medical requirements to third party vendors requested by the underwriter needed for risk assessment 10%

Process substandard offers accepted by clients and process initial premium payments when required and reconcile funds between operating systems 5%

Obtain missing information relating to Not in Good Order applications from Agents / Brokers, Sponsors and clients by email or written correspondence 5%

Prepare medical underwriting questionnaires and written correspondence 10%

Perform transaction monitoring or quality checking of transaction processed 10%

Manage emails and provide timely response to inquiry 10%
