Job Description

The Compliance Specialist is responsible in ensuring that the company secures all applicable permits and licenses to conduct its business and that the company complies with all submission of reports with government agencies and local government units.

The Compliance specialist is responsible in evaluating and monitoring the company’s policies and procedures to make sure all employees are adhering to them and that these are in compliance with laws and regulations.

The Compliance Specialist is responsible in monitoring that the company's operations adhere to the laws and regulations within its industry.

  • Empowers and trains End-Users on how to effectively prepare, file and secure permits, licenses and reports.
  • Monitors the application and renewal of all applicable permits and licenses of the company.
  • Liaises with local government units and government agencies on the applicable permits and licenses of the company.
  • Monitors the compliance in the submission of reports and other documents required by local government units and government agencies.
  • Regularly updates the company’s records on permits, licenses and reports (compliance documents).
  • Conducts compliance audit to evaluate whether the company’s policies and procedures are in compliance with laws and to make updates as needed to stay in compliance.
  • Monitors operations to ensure that the company adheres to the laws regulating its industry.
  • Monitors compliance by all employees of company’s Policies and Procedures.
  • Prepares documents and materials for meetings of the Board of Directors.
  • Maintains (or assists in maintaining corporate) files related to legal matters, such as contracts, permits, licenses and reports.
  • Monitors all pending cases of the company.
  • Performs other related tasks and / or functions that the company may require.
  • Minimum Qualifications

  • Strong analytical and planning skills;
  • Good communication and presentation skills;
  • Excellent problem-solving skills;
  • At least 2 years relevant experience
  • Finished at least all the regular courses in second year law school in the Philippines
