Job Purpose / Mission / Summary
The Global Content Audit Specialist will be a member of the Global eCommerce and Analytics team, serving as a team member in the operational SEO team.
This role will be responsible for supporting the implementation of a global Content Audit Roadmap to further improve Lexmark online content on all our web platforms.
In addition, the Global Content Audit Specialist will continuously check Lexmark public web pages to provide data and insights to improve the quality and relevance of our global web content.
This role is expected to be highly collaborative with the SEO, Analytics and other relevant teams to drive the optimization of our web content.
Key Roles and Responsibilities :
Conduct content audits to identify content gaps, search trends and opportunities, propose improvements and request needed changes via Lexmark’s web operations group with the help and guidance of our SEO specialists.
Provided insights and data through content audits to the SEO team and subject matter experts to create new content as well as improve existing webpages which ultimately has a positive impact on SEO performance.
Help make content successful by working with other teams to promote content, optimize conversion paths, and build links.
Support the SEO teams work with onsite and possibly offsite writers to implement content plans, delivering detailed briefs, copy-editing drafts, and providing feedback in a timely manner based on the input from the SMEs.
Track competitive landscape - to understand competing website's content strategy.
Manage content audit projects effectively and accurately, working with the SEO team, Analytics team, writers, designers, developers, and other partners, both in-house and offsite.
Create and maintain XML sitemaps for the Lexmark public websites.
Support maintenance of the Lexmark content calendar.
Support building a repository of all Lexmark's content, with owners and points of contact.
Support building SEO reports.
Work on special projects in coordination with management team as needed.
Continuous focus on education and personal skill development to be always on track with market dynamics and trends.
Competencies, Skills, Knowledge and Abilities :
Experience with Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, SEO Benchmark platforms and content audit tools is an advantage.
Understanding of content marketing and SEO strategy, and Google ranking factors.
Has knowledge of : Keyword research & utilization. Internal content audit - finding opportunities for content gaps & improvements.
Understands basic SEO on-page requirements. Analytics, to determine which areas are weak and strong in performance.
Analytical skills to dig into website data and track content performance.
High level logic and ability to clearly define objectives and success criteria.
Excellent communication skills, including written, interpersonal, and presenting.
Self-starter that thrives on independent work and has a strong internal drive to move projects from concept to completion.
Team player who excels at building strong, functional work relationships across teams, departments, and geographies.
A positive attitude and willingness to accept and embrace the fast-paced changes and challenges of the technology industry.
Education, Experience and Certifications Basic Requirements :
Minimum of 2 years job-related work experience preferably with advertising agencies or media companies, corporate marketing and advertising, or design firms.
Supplementary trainings are advantageous but not required.
