JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS :
The Van Scoy lab is seeking a part-time, research assistant to support projects related to medical decision making. Duties include working with databases using REDCap and Excel.
Administrative support such as filing, data entry, phone calls, assembling materials, and other duties as assigned. The successful candidate should be organized, reliable, and willing to learn.
Person must possess professional and personable communication skills. Training on communication qualitative analysis will be provided to support related projects.
The person must also have the ability to work independently and as a team member. The position will be working up to 20 hours per week based on need.
Typically requires an associate’s degree or higher plus one year of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
This is a part-time hourly, wage-payroll position.
CAMPUS SECURITY CRIME STATISTICS :
Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR).
The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
The ASR is available for review .
