JOB ROLE

An Associate Planning Director ensures that the agency's output adds value to the set of businesses he looks after. He does this by directly carrying out planning work, securing access to the necessary tools and knowledge he needs to get the job done, and being the team’s cultural compass.

He ensures that the set of accounts under his supervision receives the necessary support by working efficiently.

  • Time spent by Planners generates ample returns to the agency
  • Minimize overburn of hours spent across accounts
  • Required Skills

  • Proficiency with advanced marketing concepts
  • Ability to diagnose a brand’s business problems with precision
  • Expertise in providing counsel on strategic brand priorities to senior-level clients
  • Ability to drive a team to create more effective work and demonstrate its results
  • Ability to devise and deploy research to unearth fresh truths or to investigate specific areas, both quantitative and qualitative
  • Ability to partner with Creative, Business, Mapping, and Technology leads to deliver an excellent product
  • Collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Required Experience

  • At least 5+ years experience in planning, strategy or any related functions
  • Experience in marketing or advertising is an advantage
  • Preferably with experience in supervising a team
  • Proficiency with advanced marketing concepts
  • Ability to diagnose a brand’s business problems with precision
  • Expertise in providing counsel on strategic brand priorities to senior-level clients
  • Ability to drive a team to create more effective work and demonstrate its results
  • Ability to devise and deploy research to unearth fresh truths or to investigate specific areas, both quantitative and qualitative
