MSCI is seeking to expand its global ESG Ratings Analyst team. The analyst is expected to have a strong interest in water / climate change trends and specific knowledge about how it affects different industries.
The analyst will work on developing new models and methodologies and enhancing existing products to assess climate change and water related risk and opportunities faced by different industries.
In addition, the analyst will serve as the first point of contact for all model and methodology related queries by internal and external clients.
A qualified candidate would have experience in conducting analysis of quantitative and qualitative data, ability to work in a diverse team, collaborate with different functions & teams, and have strong facility with modeling.
Besides prior experience in Climate Change or Water or other ESG related themes, any other relevant industry experience or expertise in the Energy, Transportation, or Utilities industries would also be highly regarded.
