Education : Graduate of Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science (or related discipline in Nutrition, Chemistry / Chemical Engineering, and Microbiology)

Communication Skills : proficient in verbal and written English

  • Systems : GMP, HACCP and / or ISO.
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications (i.e. MS Word, Excel).
  • Experience : At least 3 years of work experience in the food industry prior to his / her promotion as QA Supervisor

    Job Duties :

    Key Result Area 1 Good Manufacturing Practices Certification

  • Prepare and updates GMP and SSOP manuals as well as the monitoring forms
  • Oversees the Quality Assurance group in conducting the daily GMP checking or monitoring and monthly GMP audits, recommends and identify preventive & corrective actions for deficiencies to be implemented by Production.
  • Conducts GMP Orientations
  • Acts as liaison between the company and the third party auditors
  • Key Result Area 2 Quality Management Systems

  • Develops, justifies and implements quality programs that meet process and product standards, clearly recognizing that everyone is responsible for quality.
  • Participates in other plant teams and programs such as HACCP team and others as assigned.
  • Ensures accuracy and correctness of Quality Assurance reports
  • Communicates new process and / or products to the whole QA team.
  • Ensures QA schedules effectively monitor quality activities to ensure attainment of customer’s requirement.
  • Performs quality audit of Supplier
  • Key Result Area 3 Cost of Materials

  • Designs validation process in the event of high percentage product rejections.
  • Develops corrective and preventive actions to process deviations
  • Discuss product rejections and spoilages to top management
  • Manage and monitor raw materials substitution in case of urgent need for quality issues
  • Key Result Area 4 Product Quality Feedback

  • Investigates complaints on existing product and provide response to branch and institutional accounts as customers.
  • Recommends and communicates corrective and preventive actions to complaints to all concerned department
  • Implements and follow-up and verified the effectiveness of the corrective and preventive actions to complaints
  • Key Result Area 5 - People Management

  • Ensures implementation of Code of Ethics including effective handling of labor cases and any deviations in the Code of Conduct requiring disciplinary actions in accordance with the prescribe provision
