Senior Analyst, Best Practices-(22004349)


This role will act as a Store Operations partner to define and modify company best practices through sound analysis, effective project management, and consensus building with Executives.

They will coordinate with key business partners to design, test, and implement improvements to store best practices and / or technologies.

Key components of this role are understanding Store Operations policies and procedures, producing insights through data analytics, working directly with stores / field leaders to collect feedback, and communicating recommendations to leadership.


Perform comprehensive data analysis :

  • Support project analyses and quantify potential impact to key business metrics
  • Provide analytical support for pilot initiatives end-to-end, including pilot / control store selection, KPI / metric analysis, delivery of pilot results and insights, and rollout logistics
  • Support ad hoc analysis as requested
  • Identify, Test, and Implement Process Improvements :

  • Identify industry best practices and competitor practices to improve store efficiency and execution
  • Support the creation of presentation materials for Executive-level audiences
  • Partner cross-functionally with stakeholders to gain input and develop inclusive / holistic operational solutions; pilot and / or rollout these enhancements to improve store efficiency and operational effectiveness
  • Partner with Store Communications to develop appropriate communication and training to educate field operators on best practices and process enhancements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA preferred
  • Prior consulting experience preferred; retail experience preferred
  • Superior analytical skills, both mathematical and problem solving
  • A detail-oriented approach must pay close attention to details and have the drive to get things right
  • Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word mastery of Excel and PowerPoint required
  • High comfort level working in ambiguous, rapidly changing environments and ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously
  • High degree of reliability including accountability for daily, weekly, and long-term projects

    Job requires ability to work in an office environment, primarily on a computer.

    Requires sitting, standing, walking, hearing, talking on the telephone, attending in-person meetings, typing, and working with paper / files, etc.

    Consistent timeliness and regular attendance.

    Vision requirements : Ability to see information in print and / or electronically.

    This role requires regular in-office presence, including to engage in in-person team interaction, meetings and collaboration, mentoring, coaching, and / or feedback.

    However, this role can perform duties effectively using a combination of in-office and remote work.
