To take full responsibility of all shifts in terms of management of subordinates, management of production and quality targets and to ensure the smooth running of the production processes.
To take full responsibility of the quality and product that is produced within the shift in line with company’s quality systems, processes and procedures.
To take full responsibility in defining flexibility and cross training requirements of her assigned subordinates
Monitor, measure and report on production related process performance and general issues.
Manage, develop and motivate direct reporting subordinates.
To ensure that Health and Safety rules and regulations are adhered to during the shift and all matters relating to this are dealt with using the resources within the company in line with the companies Health and Safety policy.
Interface with Human Resources on hiring, employee issues, promotions and terminations.
Conducts Quality issue investigations and analysis using Structured Problem Solving tools.
Organizes meetings, investigation and other channel of communication with other departments to achieve its objectives and handle special projects if needed.
Other functions include hiring and training employees; performance assessment; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems
With basic understanding of Qualification / NPI processing of engineering lots.
Understands the principles of Manufacturing and has strong Management Skills
Strong leadership planning and organizational skills
Able to communicate and motivate coherently
Problem solving and trouble shooting skills to ensure that all team members can identify root causes and take fast effective action to resolve the problems in hand.
Ability to work independently and with less supervision.
Able to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Understand line balance, scheduling, cycle times, and inventory control. Can interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written , oral , diagram or schedule form.
Able to work extended hours on occasions when required. Must be able to work shifts, attended meetings.
BS Engineering graduate (Electrical or Electronics)
Minimum of 2-3 years working in a semiconductor manufacturing environment as Shift Production Supervisor and Product / Test engineering capacity or within an equivalent capacity.
