The District Sales Manager’s main responsibility is to lead, direct, manage and coach the Service Account Representatives of the district in attainment of at least 100% district sales.

Strategic Roles Ability to identify issues, concerns and possible road blocks and define and navigate an appropriate course of action Identifies issues in the district and provides recommendations on how to address and improve systems Analyzes the impact of marketing activities conducted in the district Managerial Skills : Business Development Manages Service Accounts Representative’s performance to achieve at least 100% sales target Review sales performance, productivity and MD coverage and recommends steps in building a profitable business relationship with key customers Ability to craft clear roadmap and business development plan for the district Holds monthly meetings with SARs for accurate interpretation of Sales, Marketing, Company Programs and other activities.

Market Development Oversees, ensures, and supports SAR’s proper and timely implementation of Marketing programs Reviews SARs’ assessment of business potential and opportunities in their territory Ability to stimulate gathering of competitive intelligence Establishes business and personal rapport with key MDs to optimize sales productivity Ensures full compliance of SARs to Mexico City Principle based on Company Guidelines Conducts semestral performance appraisal Handles and resolves District and SAR issues in consideration with ones level of authority Increase level of employee engagement through bridging SARs and Management Admin Analyzes, reviews and approves MD masterlist and Cycle Work Plan (CWP) Checks and validates DCRs, liquidations, and all official documents submitted by SARs Submits report Monthly Field Itinerary, Expense Report, Sales Update and Forecast Weekly OJL / CAFGu Report, Actual Itinerary and VMOR Reviews and approves : SAR territory masterlist Daily route plan / cycle work plan MD profile Footprint Tracker Cascades corporate information, processes, programs, and systems to SARs effectively Pitches in vacant areas due to vacancy / extended leaves of Service Account Representative(s) / other various reasons Complies to all company guidelines Collaboration with : Hospital Team for hospital formulary inclusion SFE Department on self and SAR Competency Development Account Managers for validation and management of account receivables People and Competency Development Conducts individual Performance Management among SARs Monthly Performance Planning / Setting Weekly Performance Coaching Quarterly Performance Review and Appraisal Manages, monitors, and develops SAR competency to at least Level 2 Assists SFE in identifying SARs training needs Professionalism Dresses and conducts oneself in a professional manner at all times Represents the company in conjunction with customers Responds timely to any and all internal and external business communications Earns trustworthiness and confidence of colleagues and customers
