  • Provide training to first line supervisors and front-line employees to improve individual and team performance. Provide input to the Training Department to aid in the assessment of training needs and curriculum development.
  • Responsible for new-hire and ongoing training and certification of front-line employees and supervisors in conjunction with scheduling allowances.
  • Ensure consistency in all front-line employees' performance through uniform training delivery.

  • Participates in required train-the-trainer classes to obtain certification.
  • Perform all duties and responsibilities in a timely and effective manner in accordance with established company policies to achieve the overall objectives of this position.
  • Maintain a favorable working relationship with all other company employees to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate, which will be conducive to maximum employee morale, productivity, and efficiency / effectiveness.
  • Project a favorable image of the company to promote its aims and objectives and foster and enhance public recognition and acceptance of all of its areas of endeavor.
  • Keep immediate superior promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance and takes prompt corrective action where necessary or suggests alternative courses of action which may be taken.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.
  • Qualifications

  • College degree or equivalent and 1 - 3 years previous training delivery experience, preferably in similar type of business environment.
  • Proven track record as a high performing individual contributor in the TMC environment. Experience in coaching and mentoring peers desirable.

  • Working knowledge of appropriate technologies.
  • Proficient on one or more GDS or applicable agent applications.
  • Ability to demonstrate presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Strong travel industry knowledge.
  • Ability to travel + / -20% as business needs are determined
