Job Description :

Sr. Training Specialist role is an advocate for continuous learning and development of Employee Services (ES) organization.

Training Specialist plays a pivotal role, as they are front line to learning program deployment, delivery, coordination and planning in ES organization for APAC hubs.

They are key contributors to performance and capability development of ES employees. They own learning delivery and deployment of all learning programs that are part of Global Learning Solutions catalogue and work closely with operation team SMEs, Ops Team Managers, Regional Learning Manager, Learning Program Managers and Learning Experience Designers (LXDs) to drive this at hub or organizational (team) level.

Responsibilities :

  • Independently owns, plans, coordinates and facilitates GLS learning programs for APAC hubs.
  • Owns delivery and coordination of Amazon Day 1 NHO (New Hire Orientation) for MNL12 location by partnering with HRBP and other training or learning resources within corporate business groups.
  • Demonstrate deep understanding of learning deliverables and expected outcomes.
  • Facilitates training for new and current employees, including team leader, individual contributors and manager roles.
  • Delivers training sessions and programs with lean preparation time, responds quickly in crises situations such as underprepared content, facilitating as back-
  • up if key facilitator is on unplanned leave etc.

  • Design & develop basic training materials related to skill or competency development based on need analysis and GLS intake mechanism
  • Hones the ability to identify and analyze gaps in learning design, development and delivery.
  • Instrumental in development of learning programs and content at global landscape. Works in close partnership with LXDs and LPMs as a key contributor to various excerpts of a module or owns development of a complete learning material
  • Establishes success measures in accordance with results of learning measurement and assessment
  • Holds thorough understanding of different audiences learning needs and business acumen.
  • Demonstrates deep interpersonal skills, establishes strong professional connect with stakeholders and team members.
  • Is well-informed of leading trends and best practices in learning domain; this includes learning related to new hire orientation, technical skill development, career progression and professional skills development.
  • Has expertise in data interpretation, analysis and reporting. Capable of providing strategic insight and direction to reporting design, structure and learning communication at hub level

  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in L&D space, should have exposure in delivering Leadership trainings / Programs
  • Has expertise in working with PowerPoint, MS word and Excel basics. An added advantage will be to have basic experience of working with e-
  • learning development tools E.g. Storyline, Camtasia etc.

  • Should be an expert at creating visually superior ILT content on PPT and combination of learning resources that may include user guides, job aides, instructional guides etc.
  • Experience in facilitating (virtual) ILT trainings and webinars
  • 2 years+ experience of working in a Shared Service Center or Corporate Organization
  • Conversant in basic learning principles and methodologies and their practical applications
  • Strong leadership skills, ability to work independently and be flexible under pressure
  • Project or program management skills are an added advantage
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to clearly communicate complex information in different quorums at all levels.
  • Experience with instructional design and content design tools such as Storyline, Adobe etc.
  • Knowledge of Adobe connect or similar tools
  • Experience working with LMS and LRS tools
  • Certification in Project Management
