As a Chat Tech Support Associate , you will deliver excellent technical support service (via Chat) to the customers and clients of an American software company. You are also expected to :
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Provide a variety of customer services through chat and email; and
Assist users in understanding policies and terms of service related to products and other services.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
Finished at least 2 years in college (or High School Graduate + relevant work experience)
Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
Working knowledge on computers
Good customer service and problem-solving skills
TECHNICAL SKILLS, not required, but an advantage :
Completion of CCNA or other Cisco certification
CompTIA Network +
Completion of NIIT / APTech / IIHT course which has gone longer than 6 months.
Process of studying and completing a Microsoft Operating System Certification
OPERATING SYSTEM SKILLS :
Proficiency in using and troubleshooting Windows 7, XP and Vista Operating Systems
Basic understanding of computer hardware and how it works with the operating system
Identify computer hardware specifications within the Windows operating system
Install and configure hardware devices
Describe and detail key operating system features
Setup a hard drive and install an operating system
Customize and configure the Internet Explorer Browser
NETWORKING SKILLS :
Set up a TCP / IP network (wireless / cabled)
Describe the steps of setting up a new computer connecting via a cable / dial up connection to the Internet
Troubleshoot network and Internet connectivity issues
