What IT Client Systems Management contributes to Cardinal Health
The IT Client Systems Management department is responsible for end user compute engineering, virtualization, meeting technologies, and productivity / collaboration engineering.
The specific responsibilities of this role include :
Work in a team environment and develop Solutions to enhance or streamline business processes utilizing Office 365 cloud technologies.
Develops and conducts small-to-large training sessions of the productivity services and applications within our team’s portfolio.
Develops, publishes, and maintains relevant end-user documentation such as quick reference guides or self-help knowledge base articles
Monitors and responds to client questions on our team’s social media group
Implements and sustains a process for promoting and using productivity tools within Cardinal Health
Performs tasks related to project intake such as requirements gathering, creating Project ROMs, creating SOWs, and manages project distribution amongst other engineers within the team.
Develops and maintains governance and policies related to our productivity solutions.
Creates and maintains a team operational dashboard used for reporting KPIs, case metrics, and project status.
Works with our Tier 2 support supervisor to improve the client experience by identifying problem areas that can be addressed through improved documentation, technical enhancements to our service catalog, technical enhancements to our applications and services, or automation.
Work with vendors of our productivity services for support, license renewal, and assistance with troubleshooting issues related to services.
Investigates user problems and identify their source, determine possible solutions; tests and implements solutions.
Troubleshoots services offered in O365 applications and identifies and correct malfunctions and other operational difficulties.
Assisting internal teams or organizations acquired by Cardinal health to facilitate an integration of their data and / or productivity services into Cardinal Health.
Identifies and develops health checks to proactively sustain our global enterprise environment.
Trains and mentors junior team members.
Bachelor in Computer Science or in related field or equivalent work experience
5+ years of experience with enterprise productivity and collaboration technologies including Office 365, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Skype for Business, Windows Server, Active Directory.
3+ years experience with Microsoft’s Office 365 Suite in an enterprise environment that leverage one or more of the supporting Office 365 components : Active Directory Federation Services (AD FS) and Azure Active Directory Connect
3+ years of experience with Windows PowerShell scripting and other scripting skills used to automate processes and reporting
1+ year of experience using PowerBI or other analytical reporting tool
Solid knowledge with TCP / IP and other networking protocols such as TELNET, SSH.
Excellent research and troubleshooting skills
Industry certifications such as MCSE, MCSA, MCF, MCE, MOS, Server+, Network+, A+ are not required but highly preferred.

The primary purpose of this role is project and service delivery of cloud-based collaboration technologies, implementing automation of repetitive tasks, streamlining business processes, and managing licensing for over 40,000+ associates across all Cardinal Health’s business segments.
Primary technologies supported include Office 365, Cisco Email Security Appliances, and Box.com. This is a highly cross-functional role that will be exposed to a wide variety of platforms and integrations.
