Deutsche Knowledge Services (DKS) operates as a shared service center for Finance, Global Business Services and IT. A wholly owned subsidiary* of the Deutsche Bank Group, operating out of the Phillipinnes, DKS provides accounting, reporting, profit and loss, cost, reconciliation, MIS, risk control, information technology and operations services (including confirmations and settlements) to internal businesses worldwide.
Accounting Close ensures all transactions are correctly accounted for and provides a golden source financial information data set upon which all internal and external reporting is based.
Ensures the integrity of reportable financial information up to, and including, CAT 3 release and the operation of the Revenue, Cost, Local and Group close processes
In the role of Special Purpose Entities (SPE) Senior Analyst, you will be primarily responsible for timely and accurate delivery of all financial reports including financial statements, additional disclosure and statistical requirements, inter-
unit clearing and other reports in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Handelsgesetzbuch (HGB) standards for submission and consolidation to the Germany head office, as well as in accordance with applicable Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) for local regulatory reporting requirements of respective location.
In this capacity, you will act as the Legal Entity Controller ensuring in-depth understanding and appreciation of the numbers and financial transactions of the structured entities.
You will also be primarily responsible for preparation of inputs for the financial reports of all in-scope structured entities, covering data gathering, data polishing, data reporting and local regulatory reporting as deemed appropriate.
For this requirement, you will need to have a degree in either Accountancy, or any Business-related course, and preferably be a Certified Public Accountant.
You will need to have relevant work experience in accounting, finance or audit with basic knowledge IFRS and US GAAP. You will need to be knowledgeable in the use of MS Office, particularly in Excel, and Powerpoint.
You will need to possess the ability to effectively communicate in English, manage your time efficiently and possess strong analytical and problem solving skills.
You will need to be a collaborative team player and can work independently.
