Job Description

  • Support the programming, management and maintenance services required to implement and support new installations or maintain and improve existing systems and applications for the entire global organization and clients.
  • Deploys newly designed applications ensuring conformity to schematics and design concepts provided by the software engineers.

    Act as the SME for database (SQL Server), may include designing, implementing and maintaining new databases, backup / recovery and configuration management, db mirroring, clustering and encryption.

    Assume ownership of the build and run responsibilities for complex database design, recoveries, disaster recovery, monitoring and troubleshooting and performance analysis.

    Responsible for delivering large-scale complex programs into production. Provides consultation on complex projects and is considered to be the top level contributor / specialist.

    Provide operational support and incident resolution Fault Management (diagnosis, root-cause elimination activity, escalation, tracking and permanent resolution of complex incidents).

    Skills Required

  • Ability to analyze technology systems and a firm understanding of design methodology and techniques.
  • Ability to analyze, develop, implement, monitor and report technology plans and programs for one or more products or business processes that cross multiple functions.
  • Ability to collaborate and add value through participation, peer code reviews, providing comments and suggestions.
  • Ability to create and execute designs for small sets of new functionality as part of the AGILE software project.
  • Ability to demonstrate a proven track record for logical and complex systems.
  • Ability to demonstrate analysis and problem solving skills to determine effects on existing technology systems and / or business processes.
  • Ability to demonstrate decision-making skills for technology problem identification and solution recommendation and implementation
  • Ability to derive software backlog specification from system design requirement specifications.
  • Ability to develop applications to support different departments of the organization
  • Ability to ensure completion of projects within established timeframe.
  • Ability to make modifications to the programs to ensure that the program meets the specifications and conforms to the overall system.
  • Ability to perform AGILE-Scrum and / or AGILE-XP methodology from start to completion of product.
  • Ability to perform detailed design and coding activity while considering timing, CPU cycles, data / code space optimization, modularity and other best practices to implement above captured requirements.
  • Ability to perform root cause analysis and outlines corrective actions for given problems.
  • Ability to prepare and review program specifications based on technical and design specifications from the manager.
  • Ability to produce and maintain program documentation.
  • Ability to provide reliable solutions to a variety of problems using sound problem solving techniques.
  • Ability to use various software applications programs including Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Word, and Excel for technology-related projects.
  • Ability to write computer programs, assemble and create unit test data to test program decision processes prior to turnover for Quality Assurance testing.
  • Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related technical discipline and three years relevant experience or minimum of five years relevant experience without college degree.
  • Minimum of 3+ year hands-on web application development and web user interface
  • Minimum of 3+year hands-on desktop application development
  • Minimum of 1+years hands-on experience using AGILE-SCRUM & / or AGILE-XP methodology
  • Minimum of 1+ year hands-on experience working with Microsoft .Net framework
  • Minimum of 1+years hand-on experience working with ASP.Net MVC4 software pattern
  • CORE SKILLS : At least 5-yrs. Experience using Visual Studio 2010, C#, .Net Framework, ASP.NET MVC, JavaScript, JQuery, and AJAX, CSS, SQL, LINQ, Web services (REST, WCF, and SOAP), DI and IoC, Design patterns like MVC and MVVM, HTML5, Deployment and IT experience with Windows Server 2008 R2 (IIS 7.5).
  • Hands-on experience working in Human Resource Information System (HRIS), Manpower Resources and Recruitment System (MRS) and Time Keeping & Management System (TKS).
  • Exceptional knowledge of ASP.Net and Visual Studio
  • Experienced as a DBA administrator for an ORACLE or SQL based system is a plus
  • Exceptional understanding of Oracle, SQL Server and other RDBMS.
  • Excellent knowledge and experience in different programming languages (i.e. Visual Basic, .Net, Java, PHP).
