Reporting to the Country Manager, the Product Manager will support achievement of Yearly Sales, Profitability and Market Share targets by formulating and defining strategies and implementing the right go-to-market programs and initiatives for Covid portfolio.

As part of a cross functional team, this role will provide execution and monitoring of programs to ensure that key demand drivers are implemented on a timely manner and delivery of set KPIs.

    Development of Marketing Strategy and Execution of Plans

  • Understands Covid portfolio components including brand essence, values, position and key messages.
  • Develops marketing plan and Covid portfolio strategies, responsible for the creation of individual brand’s and portfolio promotional and communication materials (KOL management, salesforce, marketing tools, detail aids and tactics) to demonstrate impact to business results & ROI.
  • Ensures timely and quality implementation of programs, resolve issues and make necessary corrective actions to drive expected results.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide support in timely execution of programs.
  • Identify new marketing opportunities through regular joint visits with sales force. Provide technical / academic information to assist field force on product promotion and handling competition.
  • Maintain good partnership with external stakeholders (KOLs and advisory board) to support the company and brand objectives
  • Understand and analyze market trends and business potential for Covid portfolio
  • Coordinate the development of marketing strategies, initiatives, promotion programs and ensure successful execution.
  • Research and Market Insights

  • Monitor, analyze and evaluate market trends, consumer behavior and competitor activities to identify market opportunities and determine implications to Brand performance
  • Understand market research, interpret findings, draw appropriate insights based on results and identify implications for Brand / Category
  • Develop research and field-test on marketing and education programs to determine customer acceptance, evaluate effectiveness of promotion efforts and keep informed on needs of the various market segments.
  • Brand Financials

  • Responsible for the delivery of sales, margin and share objectives of Covid portfolio
  • Manage Advertising & Promotional budget of the Brand and ensure marketing programs yield appropriate R
  • Prepare sales forecasts with appropriate assumptions.
  • Analyze market trends and sales potential; issue monthly proposed forecast with suggested action plans to achieve the proposed forecast.
  • Maintain contact with key customers to follow up promotion efforts and keep informed on needs of the internal and external customers.
  • Review the performance of existing product sales and customers as appropriate, submit recommendation for change in the marketing plan to remedy the situation.
  • Ownership of Sales forecast in coordination with Country Manager and Sales
  • Accelerate growth in alignment with the total portfolio objectives and long-term plan.
  • Innovation

  • Work with affiliate support team and regional / global innovation team in planning, preparing, executing and monitoring innovation projects.
  • Job Specification

    Knowledge & Experience :

  • Brand management experience of at least 5 years as Brand Manager / Sr Brand Manager
  • Experience in managing Key Accounts / dealing with Key Opinion Leaders
  • Experience in managing new launches
  • Demonstrated experience working with cross-functional teams
  • Preferably with additional exposure of sales
  • Must have good project management skills and acumen of managing a P&L
