Main Responsibilities :

Source and maintain relationships with current and potential suppliers of scrap metals

Ensure that the company has a consistent acceptable amount of supply

Investigate new sources of scrap in one’s designated region / area leading to procurement of all grades of metals

Represent as the point person for the organization when it comes to market factors happening in one’s area that can affect the supply of scrap metals

Communicate with Materials Recycling Department so that purchases are in line with the overall buy plan for the region

Qualification / s :

At least graduate of a relevant technical or vocational course or College graduate

Preferably has 3 to 4 years of related work experience

Supplier relationship management skills

Proficient in IT / Computer is an advantage

Knowledge in non-ferrous metals but mainly on ferrous ones and in grading or classifying scrap metals is an advantage

Good communication, interpersonal and presentation skills

Acts ethically and honestly in all matters relating to the company

Able to permanently work the at the Buying Station in Brgy. San Martin, Villanueva, Misamis Oriental

Able to travel whenever necessary and permitted
